Oh so I have! I'll fix that up, cheers!

I don't use a fan on my 17.5T, not enough load on them to get them very hot. As for tyres I've always liked Calibars, but I've also wanted to try Bow-Ties. Keep in mind we may only have the old track for another meet or two (fingers crossed), then we'll all have to work out what tyres work for the new track

I really like the feel of the Bow Ties. I think the wide lug tread gives it lots of forward grip but not as much sideways. I found it would slide into the corners nicely when I backed off then power out with plenty of grip. If I trailed the throttle it was smoother though. I wonder if the Calibers would give a more even feel all round.

I'll probably order another set of Bow Ties since there's some reasonably priced ones in Aus that should get here fast. Maybe we could swap wheels for a few laps to compare them next meet.

Edit - Also, what motor were you running last meet? Ash though he heard you say you weren't running a 17.5t. I'm just wondering so I know if your lap times from last meet are what I should be aiming for.

Pretty sure Alex was using the 17.5 with boost cranked up on his speedy.

Great, another 2wd buggy up and running.
Still waiting on mine to be delivered.

Should near be enough to break them off into their own class now?

Yeah it looks like there will be enough 2wd and 4wd buggies to make up their own classes, the extra class will help space the day out a bit more.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in my DEX410?
I'm still thinking about changing to 4x4 SC and have a DESC410R lined up.
Buggy would come with 2 full sets of Calibers, chassis protector.
I will also be selling a new LRP X12 6.5t, used for 5 mins to test.
$450 the lot.

A couple more suggestions, both pretty much the same, just moved the main straight.

EDIT:
Similar to one of the others with a few differences.

Do the lanes have to be 3m around the corners aswell?
There are a couple of corners that come a little under it and one is around 2.2m I think it was but I reckon this one could be made a little wider without that many changes.

Ifmar Worlds track can be made to fit.

I just grabbed me a Nexx 10 SC, with any luck it will be here before Sunday (doubt it though).

Here's my first attempt at a track layout. It leaves a fair bit of unused space, but I prefer a flowing layout without so many tight sections. I'm not sure how long a lap would take, it's 165m around the centre line of the track. How many jumps would we want?

The worlds track looks good, I also prefer the more flowing track layouts compared to the stop start ones.

Looks good, but as you said today, we don't really have to use every bit of space, it would make for a boring track aswell.

This is the thread I was on about today aswell by the way...
http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...ber-links.html

I prefer a more flowing/rhythmic track aswell, I've just kinda been trying to strike a compromise of using as much space as possible while not being a bunch of straights.

Too many long straights wouldn't be that great I don't think, everyone would just end up gearing as high as they can to get the most speed on them, would just be a race to the corners all the time.

I'm not too keen on anything too sharp or sudden just after the main straight either, just asking for pile ups every race, part of the challenge I spose but, just what I think.

Here's a few more, one is partly inspired by the current track. These are a bit rough, I'll do neat ones if you like any.

Cheers, I'll have to read up on that. My Strike has a bunch of different mounting points so it'd be good to know what changes what.
