When the track is smooth and sugared we use AKA Rebar or Impact.
Proline Calibers are always a good all round tyre too.

it comes down to personal preference a bit, but generally a pin style for when its a bit dusty, (holeshot, raptor, double dee, impact etc), and a bar style for when there is a clean racing line (rattler, rebar, bk bar etc)

calibers are also a good "go to" tire, with a great balance of grip and tread life.

with summer apparently approaching, stick to soft compounds over super soft for best tread life.

NWRCCC is proud to present the:
Latrobe Cup

The NWRCCC will be hosting the third round of the Tasmanian Interclub Drivers Championship on the 7th - 8th of December 2013.

This will bring drivers from across Tasmania to the home of the NWRCCC at the Bendigo Bank Arena, Latrobe Speedway to compete in a range of EP classes.

Please support the following sponsors who will proudly be supporting the Latrobe Cup:

Event details:

When: 7th - 8th December 2013

Tentative Schedule:
Saturday
Open Timed Practise: 9am till 12:30pm
Qualifying: 1pm - 3 x 5 minute Qualifiers

Sunday
Qualifying: 9am - 1 x Qualifier
Finals: 3 x Finals after Qualifying

Race timing will be done via the usual method of AMB personal transponders, MyLaps RC4 or MRT PTX are all suitable.

Track Surface: 100% Clay surface - Most common tyres are Cityblock & Caliber

Food & Drink:
We have a Canteen on site. Fresh food will be cooked on the day - no alcohol is to be consumed during the race day.

Practice: Our usual club days will be run leading up to the event if anyone needs some track time. Check the NWRCCC forums for the dates.

Raffle: Bring some extra coins, we'll be holding a raffle during the event. You'll like the prizes on offer, and it'll to help support the club.
