1) If you install the rear arms upside down, no matter how hard to try the rear hubs will not fit.

2) when assembling the shocks it pays to have finger nails when trying to lock in the c clips.

3) Occupying the lounge room coffee table for the past 4 nights does not improve a marrage, or prehaps it was the incident involving the spilt shock oil...

4) If your tired, and find yourself trying to force things to make them fit, turn back 3 pages in your manual because you have made a mistake (see step 1)

5) a set of ball drivers are fun to have, but shouldnt be used for tightening up the bolts.

Just need to pick up my motor and ESC, and actually drive the car then, cant wait. Look forward to meeting you all on the track
no worries mate, hope to see you at the track on the next sunday we race.

good to meet you on sunday.

Ummm, I think you will find that RC in general does not help a marriage, just ask around the married guys! We can give you some tips on how to hide the fact you are doing RC, like Steve's: "No I'm not looking at RC on my laptop, I'm looking at porn!" Or my: "I think I'll get the boys out of your hair for a few hours and take them to the park."

And my best one yet: "I'm taking an active involvement in Steve's occupational therapy; his specialist said he needs to spend a lot of time working on his hand eye co-ordination and what could be better for that than RC cars."

Yeah once you have a few cars it's easy to slip in a few more, they all look the same to them... except when the other week the brother in law asked how the new car went in the weekend in front of my wife, to her response, 'What new car?'

So far Roman, Steve and various other people have donated 15 cars to me that they didn't want..... actually Roman has given me at least 5! But she thinks I have only bought 2! One of which she bought me for a birthday present, but all the on-roads do look the same to her, becuase I just keep putting the same body shells on, except the mini, but then that was a donation!

Better get off here before she comes home and starts reading over my shoulder, which she did once when I had just posted something particularly juvenile about not being able to race one weekend and she didn't give up on that for weeks, even at family occassions she would bring up that I had used the when I couldn't race one weekend. She doesn't get sarcasm!

Not sure I agree with that.. I have quite a few cars and my missus can tell the diff between my RB5 & RT5 with bodies n wheels off... wtf??
I tried to go stealth when I got my RB5 and thought I got away with it, until she says "got a new car?" I replied " ummm.... what makes you say that?", she says "looks like your other one, only shorter."
Mind you.. i run the same gear on both. RSPro n LRP motor.

What gives.. lol

I told my wife that my T4 was the B4 with bigger wheels, she accepted that, she hasn't said anything when I had the T4 and the BX on the table together, I think she may have given up asking. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Now, what I got on here for: does anybody have a decent range of Losi buggy springs I can experiment with on Saturday so I know what I need to order? I want to try some pretty soft combinations as well as a hard combination to see what works best. Brent maybe?

Nick - i have all the losi 1/10th springs. Happy for you to use experiment with them.
Do you have bodies to put them on. THe losi shock body is larger in diameter than the associated's.
I do have some spare bodies (Fr & R), but only the older style collar bodies (not the threaded collars) Overall more or less the same design and function.

Default Pictures of the new addition to the family

Hi guys,

A few pics of the new baby, I havnt adjusted camber/toe/ride height yet, mainly because all i know about doing so is from what i had read on the internet, and I havnt been able to take it on track yet to see how it handles.

Still waiting on the ESC/Motor, I think i might have to tie some rope to the front of it and get my daughters to run around the track on the weekend .

Anyone got any painting tips? Or should i just use the first body as learning experience?

Enjoy your race day
