In regards to the Club Series I am assuming the website is wrong as nobody has posted anything to the contrary on the Club Series thread and we haven't received anything from Mav. It better not have changed after the negotiating I had to do to get that weekend!

Anyway on a lighter note, somebody sent me this again and it never ceases to crack me up:

Just a reminder.... for those that are planning on racing this Sunday please register online in advance. This helps greatly and will get us all racing sooner.
Also....

For the first time at Ryde .... 1/8E Buggy Class!!!

If we get 5 entries, we'll run the class.. Being the first time ever, we are going to limit entries to experienced racers (1/10 or 1/8) only.
Apologies to all the n00bs, but this is some thing new we're trialling.

Does the j82 still run in 1/10 or 1/8 buggy. as it is almost the same size?

I will play 1/8thE - if we get enough entries . . i ran it a few weeks ago.. bit of a handful on a tight 1/10th track but still fun!

Hey Bobcat,
The SC8 is more like a 1/8 truggy in size and weight (actually a little bigger and heavier still). Let me check with the others, but we're just taking baby steps atm.
We've had 3-4 buggies on the track before, but it would be good to see how the the track will hold up with a full field. If it holds up ok we'll consider extending to other 1/8, if there is interest..

I'll be there from 3-5pm if that's a mini working bee.

BTW did everybody watch the Gruen Transfer tonight and witness Peli's TV appearance (of sorts)!

Here's Peli's, well 15 seconds of fame: http://www.abc.net.au/iview/#/view/643443

Go to about 30:05 if you don't want to watch the whole show, although I would highly recommend you do watch the whole thing.

Good one mate!
