Looks like Sunday is now going to be much cooler. Only 28 degrees max and cloudy 👍
Perfect for racing!
See you all there on Sunday for an earlier 8.30am start.
Cheers.

All my fronts for the next few months of racing are all pre glued up. I can bring some rims and older tyres so you can run tmoz.

Results from yesterdays race meet, round 1 of the Autumn Pointscore Series, are now on the club website;

A great days racing! The moisture in the track from the rain last week worked a treat to hold the clay surface together. Happy days.

Cheers,

Grant M

Not many entries for racing tomorrow, if we don't get at least 20 entries then we'll have no choice but to cancel racing for tomorrow.

Those that don't normally enter online please do so if you intend to race tomorrow so we know who wants to attend.

Would we still be running in the rain? At the moment it's forecasted for constant showers

Default NBHC / RC Hobbyland Sat Night Series

Just wanting to let all the interested Ryde memebrs know.

Entries for this Saturday's (4th March) St Ives round of the NBHC / RC Hobbyland Sat Night Series (re-run of washed out 18th Feb event) are open.
We have cleared all entries from the 18th Feb to ensure we know who will be attending.

Go to the St Ives RC club website.

People who entered and paid on the 18th will receive a credit. (For this coming Saturday or for the final round at St Ives - presently planned for the 25th March).

We are aware of the dismal weather forecast expected for this coming Saturday (and days preceding) but need to plan (optimistically) as though the weather may improve.

A final decision will be made towards end of the week.

Default NBHC / RC Hobbyland Sat Night Series

Just want to let any interested Sydney RC members know that there will be no racing at St Ives this weekend.

Things are too wet.

We will discuss with the Sydney RC (Ryde) committee options for running round 2 of the NBHC/ RC Hobbyland Sat Night Series.

18th March is likely date to pencil in. Just need to confirm it will be at St Ives.

Cheers,
Thommo

Whilst I have been away for the past 2 weeks, it's seems Sydney has had a bit of rain... unfortunately not good for rc racing, but perfect for the thirsty track surface, as it's now thouroughly wet through and perfect for grooming. Hopefully the hot weather which has been wreaking havoc by dusting up the surface is now behind us, and we can go back to the cool weather dust free clay surface we all know.... and love...
Chris W and I will be at the track from about midday this Thursday compacting the surface and maybe extending the back straight if we have enough helpers. Pls come lend a hand if you are not working and are available.
The track will be ready to race on for our club racing day this Sunday! 👍
