Hi Matt,

Gotta agree........ buggy competition is far harder than truggy......... that's why i gave it up (just not fast enough anymore) :D:D

We just found out that Renaud Savoya is moving to Brisbane for 12 months to live.

The word is he has nominated for the SA Titles............ guess he will give new meaning to a club meet :eek::eek::eek:

Cheers

Mark

Probably a question for Mark or Grizz, My 5 port front bearing appears (well is) leaking after application of ARO. It doesn't seem to be affecting tune :weird:, as the engine performs superbly and is very consistent , but never the less, there is oil leaking out when it is sitting. I've had a look at MM site, but cant seem to find replacement bearings there, can you guys point me in the right direction for a replacement. Thanks

The bearing should be fine. When you put lots of after run oil in the motor, or have the motor running quite rich, you can get a little "seeping" rather than leaking from the front bearing if the motor sits for a while. As long as the rubber seal is not turning with the crankshaft, and it's not affecting performance, just leave it. MMods should have bearings in stock. It is a pretty standard size front bearing found in a lot of motors - 7 x 19 x 6
If Massive hasn't got any, SKF make that size, so check out some bearing suppliers.

Thanks mate, I figured that it must be ok as performance is awesome, just that my Sirio (Not comparing the Sirio to a GO, The GO is far superior IMHO :)) doesn't leak like this one, will keep my eye on it and get hold of a new bearing to keep on hand.

Cheers

the 25 is a power house ! but i think needs a tad more develpment. Other than that its been very popular !

mattwoodcraft 10-21-2009 05:04 PM

.25 in truggy

Not trying to steal any of marks thunder, just a note from experience, if you decide to go down the .25 line for the truggy, I strongly recommend putting the turbo button in it and you'll just need to adjust you gearing a touch to get the legs out of it. Once you have done that mate, there a pretty good hauler in truggy especially with the 2072 pipe. 2072 seems to bring the best out of the larger capacity motors.
