hey any1 using the go engines in 1/8 on road ? humm is it a conversion of head or is it a complete new engine? mark what are they costing from you ?
I've been using a "GOva Rossi" MM stage 6 7 port on and off for nearly 12 months in 1/8 on-road down here at Lilydale. It started life as a Nova Rossi RX01WC then after a broken rod and piston it received a MM Go Tech crank, rod & sleeve (all fitted perfectly). It still has awesome pinch after about 25 litres and has only had one rod in it, not that it needed it, at about 20 litres. I have another one as backup that I bought at the same time from Mark but haven't had the need to use it yet!!

is the GO femca 8081 a legal pipe i checked the aarcmcc site for legal pipes but its not on the list or is there a updated list because i have been told if its not on the list then its not legal
any help would be appreciated

MassiveMods 08-06-2008 06:57 PM

the pipe is FEMCA Legal the number is the 0801 ... maybe thats why you cant find it .. ? ill check too

meakinracer 08-06-2008 07:00 PM

yeah thats not on there either also on your web site it also says 0801 and 8081

MassiveMods 08-06-2008 07:20 PM

Yeah thats a Typo .. il fix it thanks !

I have confirmed with Go Factory that the pipe is approved by FEMCA and IFMAR . I would say it hasnt been updated on the ARCMACC site yet.

You can normally find the latest version at www.ifmar.org
But i just checked for the latest Approved muffler list
and it looks like they are in the middle of up dating it, prior to the world championships in Sept.

Vic Titles results

Is was a shame the weather washed out the finals. Would have been great to see them battle it out in the final, there were some great drivers out there ! Trophies were awarded as per Quals ..

Congratulations to !

Craig Laughton TQ 1st truggy 2 nd buggy , Joe Glavic TQ 1st MT , Robbie , Adam Alexander 2nd MT , Myles Cooper 3 rd MT , Pat and the other Robbie lol Awesome results and a lot of fun had by all !

Special thanks to Chris Russell of Hunter Valley RC ! Gets the top bloke award in my book !

Cheers to The Adelaide boys and RC Hobby Zone for their tireless efforts !

I have to say getting 2 TQs in a State title is an amazing fete. While the products being Go Engine and MM fuels, would have just been sitting there in the pits without the drivers , you have to say that their choice of product did not let them down.

Yes, the weather was pretty ordinary. My TQ result in MT class was achieved with the GO 21 5 port combined with MM HB444 fuel, the best combination I've used so far. Adam pushed me pretty hard all weekend with his GO 21 7 port, we both broke MT lap records in one race! All in all great results for GO engines and massive mods fuel in all classes.

Cheers Joe

All front bearings leak a little bit. the way to tell if it needs replacing is if you use the edge of your thumb nail to try and move the rubber shield. if it rotates then it needs replacing.

Cheers MM

the problem is we get the motor tuned perfect but then the idle will fluctuate which makes it hard to race with because the performance is all over the place. the only thing we can think of is that the front bearing is leaking.
