Try either Castle Hill Hobbies, Kellets hobbies or Metro hobbies, they would be your best bet.

If you run it as a SWB you can also get a lot of inexpensive bodyshells, MWB and LWB you cant.
Anyone know the part number for a M03-M

Default Mini Dampers

Can anyone tell me if the CVA mini dampers are the same as the CVA dampers in the TB02 kit (both plastic oil dampers). Fully extended, the TB02 dampers are about 3mm longer then the friction dampers in the kit.
The other question is are they TCS legal?

Cheers.

Default CVA Oil shocks

I think the TB02 uses "Mini CVA "shocks. The "Super Mini CVA" shocks have a shorter shock body and are easier to use on a Mini. If you use internal spacers/o-rings to shorten the overall shock length on a CVA shock it becomes increasingly difficult to install the spring retainer. Just my .02c worth

Check the back page of your instruction manual. All the hop ups listed there are the TCS legal ones. If your not running to TCS rules check with your local club.

Thanks for reply.
We do run TCS rules + any tyres.
I`m using TRF shock OP-571 and high torqe servo saver SP-473.
Can not find them on my manual so they are illegal??
I know my club don`t care but I like to keep`em all TCS legal.

Default Mini Rules

Mini rules are as per TCS rules and the accompanying appendix. Failing that the Tamiya Guide book will show you all the standard parts and optional parts for your specific model. Some early M03 manuals(I think the Rover Mini Cooper) were incorrect. They nominated 22/23T and 24/25T pinions as optional and as I found out the hard way they were declared illegal. Wnjoy your reading!

some of the early rover M03 manauls also pre-date some of the later hop-up like trf shocks and alloy knuckles.

Hmmm that might also help explain why when we ventured north our Minis were suddenly getting passed in a straight line.....
