First tip

:D You must have 4 wheels with tyres mounted on them, and generally pointed in the same direction

Mini Tracks?

We race on carpet in Brisbane, does anyone else as well? or are all you guys concrete or carpark racers?

David 06-15-2003 04:56 PM

The Illawarra club has meetings once a month indoor on wooden floors

How do you get grip?

I can imagine the race full of power slides and diff bounce.

when i get the mini out i run at castle hill:) it is on brushed concrete and grip is pretty good on this:nod:

Some how I think that Mini's and power slides should never be seen in the same sentence

The polished wooden floors under our track is very slippery!

After the track has been put away, some of the guys hoon around on it with their touring cars.

Tips & Tricks

Next step, make sure that you have a DC electric motor in your mini (M series tamiya) and that it turns the right way ;)

Mini's never power slide, they are front wheel drive :D

So I wasn't using the correct term for "mini sliding sideways, wheels are spinning and steering on full lock but car not turning" - Get over it - move on. :weird:

What's your track made of ? and what grips for you ?
