Electric cars/ rubber tires seem to work quite well. Most of the mod cars don't need tire warmers/ addictive as they seem to gain traction right away. Not sure about 5th scale, I don't know if any 5th scale has used the track yet. However I think anything with rubber tires will work quite well.

Track looks great guys, it does take i a lot of effort to re-surface a track and it does help when you have great members giving there spare time to give hand. But in end the feeling of a track has being re-surface it most rewarding.
