MECA will be a 3 round series, all rounds will be held at Whalan Park SORMCC
Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the 3 rounds.
Prizes:
· Nitro open: A split system air-conditioning system sponsored by GREE Air Conditioning.
· Pull Start: A split system air-conditioning system sponsored by GREE Air Conditioning.
· 540: A complete brushless system including a 13.5 motor and speed controller
as well as a Li Po battery sponsored by East Coast & Speed Passion.
· Stock: A paid trip to the TITC held in Bangkok. This will include hotel and flight sponsored by
East Coast & Speed Passion.
· Modified: A paid trip to the TITC held in Bangkok. This will include hotel and flight sponsored by
East Coast & Speed Passion.
Award:
· Trophies will be awarded at each round of the series. From 1st – 8th for the A finalist.
· 1st -3rd for the B-Finalist. TQ will also be awarded a separate trophy.
General rules for Electric:
1. Any 2 or 4 door body is eligible for use in all classes.
2. Lipo batteries can be used in stock or modified with a capacity up to and including 5000mAh.
3. 540 Sport Class max 4200mah.
4. Any NiMH battery can be used up to and including 4600.
5. The weight limit for all classes will be 1400 grams including transponder.
6. Tyres are open for all classes.
7. All cars must have independent suspension and must not use direct drive transmission.
8. Only one rear wing is allowed. No front wings permitted.
Modified:
· The use of any sensored brushless motors is allowed.
· The modified racing will be 5 minute heats.
· Max of 8 drivers per heats and finals.
· 3 A main finals and one final each for lower finals
Stock:
· Stock motors will be 23 turn motors.
· Any ROAR 24 degree, JRM stock ANY TYPE ALLOWED.
· The use of 13.5 or 11.5 brushless sensored motors are also allowed.
· The heats and finals for this class will be 8 minutes with a maximum of 8 cars in the heats and finals.
· The A main will have 3 finals and one final each for lower finals.
540:
· The motors for this class will be hand out motors.
· They will not be the standard Tamiya 540.
· The motors to be used are readily available from Walter R/C Hobby and any hobby shop can order them for people wanting to practice. The hand out motor on the day will cost $10.
· Only one motor is allowed for use during the heats with an option of another motor being purchased for the A main finalists.
· The heats will be 8 minutes with a maximum of 8 cars in the heats and finals.
· The A main will have 3 finals and one final each for lower finals.
General rules for Nitro:
Nitro open class:

Maitland Offroad Radio Control Car Club can be found at Harold Gregson Reserve, High Street, Maitland - New South Wales.
Classes:

Entry fee:
$35.00 for first class and $20 for each other class entered, entries will close last mail Monday the 19th of November 2007. Late entry fee of $20.00 per class will apply.
Thursday - Open Practice
Friday - Controlled Practice in heats - if needed
Saturday - Qualifying – min of 4 rounds and a max of 6 rounds
Sunday Finals
All electric finals – 5 mins
Outlaw Truck finals – 10 mins
Gas main final – 40 mins
Trophy presentation.
Finals:
All Electric Main Finals will be 3 x 5 minutes each, except Outlaw which will be 3 x 10 minutes each. In the result of a tie on points AARCMCC count back rules will apply.
The Gas Main Final will be 40 Minutes

2007 PROLINE PDNR 3 HOUR CLASSIC
2007 PRO-LINE PDNR 3 HOUR CLASSIC
It's on again bigger and better. The 2007 Proline PDNR 3 Hour Classic is on Saturday Evening/Night November 17. The venue is the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Old Castlereagh Rd Penrith.
The theme for this years event is the Proline Ferrari FX (Enzo) which each team receive complimentary upon entry.
PDNR invite all drivers to form a team, both Nitro and Electric are welcome and face the ultimate test of endurance - 180 minutes of non-stop racing!

Gold Coast Model Raceway Drift Event December 8th
Hello all RC drifters,
Gold Coast Model Raceway would like to announce the ever RC drift racing event at the Gold Coast Model Raceeway.
Please read the details below.
DECEMBER 8th
GC Drifters first comp woot woot!!!!!
We have finally got the go ahead from Gilston Model Raceway to hold our first drift comp sponsored by RC Warehouse. It's open to everyone. We'll be running Beginner, Intermediate and Pro classes (numbers permitting) with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each. We'll also have a raffle and a lucky entry prize.
Event staff will be on site from 9:00am. Registration and free practice will start at 9:30. The track will be closed at 10:30 to comence the competition.
Prizes donated by RC Warehouse, kaos(TM) Performance Drift Tyres and RC Drift Magazine:
Pro
1st: A Body Shell and a years subscription to RC Drift Magazine
2nd: LED Light kit
3rd: a set of kaos(TM) drift tyres
Intermediate and beginner:
1st: A Body Shell and a years subscription to RC Drift Magazine
2nd: A Set of HPI Wheels
3rd: a set of kaos(TM) drift tyres
We'll also be having a hard luck award and a best presented shell award which will be an RC Warehouse gift voucher valued at $25 and a body shell.
The prize for the raffle will be a 1/10 Petrol RC Car donated by RC Warehouse. The lucky entry prize will be a body shell donated by GC Drifters.
Food and drinks will be on sale at the track. Entry fee will be $25 (includes a free sausage sandwich and drink) with $5 from every entry going to the Gilston Model Raceway for track improvements and any damage that we may cause to their track or facilities. The rest of the money will go towards paying for food and drink for the day, prizes, renting of required equipment ect.
The comp is going to get Worldwide coverage in RC Drift Magazine. There will be a full story with pictures so have your best shells out on the track and in the show and shine. Big thanks to Tyler at RC Drift Magazine for their support.

2007 Christmas 500 On Road Endurance - Friday, 7 December, 07.
500 laps of non stop racing for 540 powered touring cars, plus 3 10-minuted mini enduro for stock and mini's not wanting to enter longer race.
Entry fee: $30.00 per team or $5.00 for mini enduro
Teams of 4 drivers and up to 2 cars. Each team to qualify for race. Lots of fun racing to end the racing year.
