I could be wrong, but most 13.5 motors are rated at 3300 kv while the vxl is rated at 3500 kv so they are very close.

Just a shot, does anyone have a T4 they don't want now that Cactus is over? I would consider also a XXXT CR.

Also would like another Kyosho ZX5 FS

Long shot but thought I would ask.

there are a few people who have unlegal brushless systems in there truck..but they are way overpowered...any 13.5 roar approved motor is legal, as well as lipo..also you can you the proline switches and rims, as well as rpm products sucha s arms and hubs as long as it doesnt change the stock geometry...if you want to be able to win and collect racebucks...you have to follow rules..if not you can run what you want..they do look at the trucks after the mains if you finished in top 3

One thing I can say is that 1/8 gas buggy is going to be a debachle on this track. It is very tight an technical. I would not want to marshall the step up with 1/8 gas racing. The track will also take alot of abuse by the 1/8 cars (over jumping under jumping, nose dives into the jumps, etc.) A new track most likely will have to be put in before summer. Last year we had the Cactus track until States. (October)

On a positive note: Thanks to Keoni, Lance, Humpty, and the SRS crew for all their time and hard work.

+1 on the SRS crew. Great job guys.

If I was the owner, I wouldn't want to scare off nitro 1/8 guys (i'm one of them too). This track does that pretty much does that imo, for your "typical" 1/8 scaler.

Awesome track, but I'de have to see it before I believed it. It would be a marshall's nightmare.

Unless the SRS site is not current, looks like only a stock esc is legal and any 13.5 motor.

Question...

I just recently got back in the scene...

Now since I am going to be sticking to brushed for alittle while...How will my class situation go about. I am assuming ill be put in a truck mod...which is fine even though ill be slower.

What I will be running:

LRP 8.1 esc
Orion Revolution 11x1

After some races to get familiar again...I think im going to go with the LRP Sphere Comp and a Vector X-12 or Orion motor.

Yeah, I guess I would to.... Seems a 13.5 would stomp all over a stock set-ups...

there is no truck mod class.

there is occasionally a 2wd mod heat but they are usually stuck with 2wd 10.5

you would probably be put in with truck 10.5 which runs 10 minute mains which could be troublesome.
