I bought a used xxx-t cr and it has a GTB esc with a 10.5 motor. I have a battery question, should I run a 2S or should I be looking at 2S1P? Do I need more than 25C and 4000mah? I hate to ask which one to buy as brand preference/sponsorship usually will bias an opinion, but if there is by far a more popular pack I'd be interested in knowing what guys are running.

The SMC 28c 5000 is a great pack or even the 24c 5200mah pack will be good. Thunder Power 40c 5100 is great also. SMC has a 40c also both great lipos.
The 4000 mah will work but a 10-15 min main you might want to get a 5000 mah.

wild, bring the truggy. im runnin the 8t 2.0 this weekend. i think there will be enough for a truggy class. there will be a lot of 1/8th scale due to it being the only track open. as long as you set it up right you can run just as fast as buggys on that track. i can do 25 sec in a truggy on the track.
