Im not opposed to option number 2. But it will never make enough money to pay for it self.

Option 4 will make more money then all but I wont be able to run on-road in Scottsdale anymore.

So as of now we will stick with option number 1 till no one wants to play anymore then Im pretty sure it will goto option number 3.

But who knows...James, Mike, Chris.. might fund option 4

I am probably a bit out of line here because I dont race SRS as often as I should but just thought I may include option # (winner)......make the off road track bigger

Marcus,

We got rain here last night but not too bad. I pumped the little water we had on the track and it should be good for racing tonight. Im keeping people off till 2-3pm to let it dry up. FYI- Its sunny at SRS now!

I know not everyone reads RCTECH but the phone has been ringing off the hook about race time. 8pm is our start time tonight. If you made the finals please show up a little early to sign up.

Keoni-
Can you elaborate on the format for club racing tonight? I'm sure there is some confusion out there with tonight being the conclusion of the point series as well. Thanks!

I'd do that to! I almost bought one of the Venom bikes when they came out because I was hearing and reading so much good stuff about them, and how tunable it actually is for a "cheap" bike. I wonder if SRS's onroad course would work for these bikes.

I think I would still rather race dirt oval though. Something about it just seems fun to me.

I have a suggestion for club racing that some may like, or not, just throwing it out there....

After the finals race Saturday night, I found myself much more interested, or excited about "all" the racing due to every race counting. At club races, the first 2 races mean nothing except a better starting spot for the 3rd race. Whoopee. I am suggesting for club racing we move to either a Triple A Main style, or I feel better yet, a first race qualifier (for your position), then the next two races like Outdoor Motocross where it is a combined total for both races.

For me...this would keep up the enthusiams/intensity of the racing all night long. Each race would matter. People would put more thought into every time out on the track, therefore creating exciting racing ALL night. I found myself enjoying watching almost every race last night. People were cutting the track like their life depended on them winning. Not suggesting cut the track, but you get my point. EVERY race was crucial.

Anyhoo, just an idea to bring to club racing.

I like the way it is now. Every track out there does it the standard way and newcomers from other tracks would just get confused if it is different. Could turn them off to racing at SRS
