that's impressive amount of time per belt, TO SAY THE LEASt, they didnt stretch being run all that time, and was that a one time deal, or did u perform that maintaince with every tear down/clean/rebuild?

it is going to be expensive from what i heard, at least US$700. A V8 is talking about US$550 in my country.

that is the price i got from hobby shop, yet there is no actual available date. but should be coming soon.
hope it is not so expensive. even i am a dead fans of mugen, there are too many comparison in the market. having said that, i will not switch to other brand,...........

Any words on the durability if it still carries that mugen strength and is the internal a different ratio from the x. The serpent and kyosho withe the newer internals seem real good out of the turn. Looking foward to the 5. Go mugen

Have held the MRX5 in my hands.
- you can take the car appart by only unscrewing modular parts.
- front and rear belt can be changed without unsrewing the bulkheads.
- the hollow gearshaft is 8mm running on small bearings, the old shaft can be used
- a techcorner will be build up at www.mugen.eu
- the 16t pulley is changed to 18 (same as on the gearshaft)
- the side pulley is changed to 29
