Man, just had this happen in a race, first time due to running offtrack. Luckily the Steering hub was not damaged, and was able to put it back together. Guess its time for new Pivot Balls and some new hubs.

Haha! Thats right Roelof!!! Lol. I am waiting until after the Worlds, to see which chassis Pietsch and crew have, then get a new chassis.

reviving this one after a while guys ---

i have the chance to pick up an MRX5 chassis in decent shape for $150... Seems like just a cool thing to have, although my main car is a MRX6... Thinking to grab the MRX5 and keep it as a spare for just in case situations. Is there much interchangeability between the MRX5 and the MRX6?

All belts, almost all pulleys (although mayby all pulleys), all plastics on the corners and I think the whole front end of the 6 will fit.
Drive shafts (MRX6 rear CVD's are 3mm longer, maybe they will fit) , wheel shafts, gearbox shaft (with maybe a different flat spot to grind)

From what I know is that the rear 48T pulley of the MRX5 does not fit the MRX6 directly but it does when the slot for the pin is made deeper (have done it!). Probably will the MRX6 pulley fit the MRX5
The 20T pulley will also not fit unless you use the MRX6 adapter, make 2 slots in the MRX5 adapter or dremel out the MRX6 pulley. Enough options to make it work. Otherwise the MRX5 20T pulley does fit the MRX6 if you use the MRX5 retainer ring with it although even w/o it it will stay put because of the belt.
