R.C.R.,

I ran the bmi chassis last night and the car felt so easy to drive it also had more steering.

What makes the BMI chasis work so well?

Is it made from different materials? Lighter? Stronger? Stiffer?Different dimensions?

Are there any down sides; more fragile, suited for indoor/outdoor?

It works so well because it is made of higher quality graphite (triple weave, 0, 45, 90)than what comes in the kit. This makes it much, much stiffer without being heavier. It also doesn't have the millions of holes the stock chassis has (exaggeration, but you guys know what I mean). This is also what attributes to its stiffness.

As far as downsides go, I haven't found any!

If it is more suited to one type of condition, then that is on carpet, because of its stiffness. However, many people use them on asphalt as well and do not think the lack-of-flex hurts one bit! Your car will be more responsive with this chassis and you will be able to feel your adjustments even more than you could have before.

You can also get it in a variety of colors, black, blue, SSG, titanium (my favorite), red, and now gold, too.

Send a PM to BMI Racing if you want to order one .

you don't have to change the chassis, those are only recommendations. We have several guys at the track that lov the stock chassis. And ralph runs at our track. Most of the fast guys think that the bmi chassis is too stiff. not sure I have ever heard that from anyone before, but that is what they say. But on the flip side, I believe that the chassis that ralph ran and the chassis that josh ran are not the factory stock chassis. The are a thicker chassis that is to be release in the near furture.

they are a few thick chasis floating around and yeah the BMI chassis is good but i have an akward feeling we are using the stiffer chassis to make up for A ARM FLEX the arms are like water and so if anyone has some freetime and wants to try what ive been playing with try using the stock chassis and try BEEFING UP or STRENGTHNING the front and rear a arms.

HUGE difference
