Start RPM 7500
End RPM 14500
Boost ON
Delay 400ms

The motor was 68 Deg C after 5 minutes so it seems like this is a pretty good starting point.

Now I did find that the car wasn't getting anywhere near top speed by the end of the straight and acceleration could be better in the infield.

After reading about people going as low as 7.4 FDR is my next step to gear down to improve acceleration on the infield and get to top speed quicker on the main straight. This is how I would approach it on my old GTB before I had timing advance.

OR

Do I want to change the timing or alter the start and end RPM's. Is there a danger of gearing too low and damaging equipment even if the performance seems okay? How low do you think it is safe to go on FDR with a GM 10.5?
your end rpm is way low for a 10.5 to start, try start7000- end18000.with such a low start and end(for 10.5).you are bogging the motor down esp. when boost kicks in! simply turn boost off and increase timing over a larger rpm range this should get you the excel you want then start playing with boost and delay for top end

got the kinetic all hooked up. did the one touch set up everything is at default now. when i hit the throttle it stays on evan with my finger off the trigger. doesn't stop untill i hit the brakes. i've adjusted all the settings on the transmitter to what is recommended in the kinetic directions. redone the one touch and still the same issue.

i'm pretty lost on what it could be. it's not fun having a truck that runs away. if anyone has any ideas on what it could be i would greatly appreciate the help.

Is it staying at full throttle or just barely rolling along?

Has anybody had any problems with the Kinetic not switching on? I'll plug the battery in and flick the switch, the ESC fan starts, but the lights on the ESC doesn't come on. Turn it off and on again and it works... ESC runs ok when the lights come on. Sometimes I have to turn it on and off several times to get the ESC to work... When it works it's great, V1.3 software works heaps better. easy to setup... Seems very random, it's a guess if it will boot or not.

Really????? Think it will help with the corner speed? Have you tested your Kentic without drag brake since you're going with the oneway?

i messed with all the settings on the esc and transmitter trying to figure it out. finally reset transmitter to default settings then did the one touch set up and it's working good now. must have been some combination of settings on the transmitter.

I was going to say, make sure your throttle EPAs are both at 100, I helped out a friend who couldn't get any brakes on his, and I had to set them both to 100% when calibrating.

Sounds like your power switch harness is going bad, call our customer service at 949-833-8873, I am sure they will send you a switch harness.
