The only person who disagrees is Martin who wrote the manual.

More chassis roll = grip, so when you increase the rebound aka make the shock move faster, you are taking roll out thus taking grip away by shifting weight faster. I dont see how him making his chassis lose grip by making the weight transfer quicker is done when he slows the rebound.

As far as I know, all ROAR approved lipo's should fit. I run the Orion 4800 in my car with plenty of room. And if im not mistaken that is one of, if the the biggest batteries out there.

I have run both the Reedy 5000 and the Core 5000 without any problems.

like stated above, all of them do!!!. You have 30mm clearance witht he AE TC5, the most in new TC's in the market today.

Here's what fits:

Trackpower 4900, Orion 4800, SMC5000, Checkpoint 5400, CORE5000, Reedy5000, Losi5000, etc...

the tallest ROAR legal Lipo packs right now are the SMC5000 and Tekin3400 which are 24.5mm tall.

hope that helps,

Yohan

After today, I think I'm keeping it The TC5 is really good. Very impressed at how fast and reactive it can be. Feels very light and has lots of steering.

I'll be running it next with the ITF goodies and try no rebound foams in the shocks and how it goes.

My TC5R slipper spool worked really good once I rebuilt it. Its a keeper.

On the 2nd run our cars were really fast. Had Alfonso scratching his head. He's a good sport though and and very tough competitor. Finally the Cyclone's met his match

My Tekin RS PRO is really good. Love the features and has really good brakes. The Max setting stops the car on a dime with a light tap...strongest braking I've ever had with Brshless ESC combo.

Trackpowers 4900 25C packs are also really nice beacuse they pump out power like the SMC packs, but keeps wiring much cleaner.

Good day....

Default New Kid Here

Hey guys, my dad and I have started racing a few months ago, and we're ready to step up to a competative car. Does anyone here have any pro's and con's to till me about the car listed in this thread? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
