For anyone looking for a Lipo tray for the TC5, I can highly recommend the diggity designs offset lipo tray:
http://www.diggitydesigns.com/D3_TC5...eExtended.html
With the battery out this far, with a low profile servo, a speed passion ESC and motor and a mini receiver I got perfect balance with only 5g ballast. Car weighs 1358g.
Result.

hey in terms of lipo weights/trays this is what i have in my car and it works great

shoe goo the pack to the weight with the bottom one with the bumps and goes right where the pack should. balance is great and no weird trays hanging out the side to get hit!

The PPD Billet setup is good. However, I found that with my setup, the TC5 Base Weight made my car way over the minimum weight. I removed the base weight and used only the 54 gram side weight combined with the Diggity Designs "Wide" (TC5-051) lipo tray and found that the balance on my car was near perfect. Additionally, I'm near the legal weight at 1425 grams.

Hello every ppl!
I just picked up a TC5R this week. Looking forward to racing it soon.
I just need some quick tips for gearing this car. I'll be running a Tekin Redline 13.5, rubber tire on carpet @ Horsham PA track. Any info will help.
Is there any talk about AE making a set of LCD type drives for the front?

Does anyone know if the rear bulk heads made by leg iron will work with an 87t 48p spur?

Going by the pictures I'd prefer the Diggity over the PPD one as the battery gets moved out to allow for balance and flipped belts. But weight isn't too much of a issue as I gotta run at 1500g
For sure a 92 doesn't fit.
I run a 70 at the moment and I can mesh with down to a 24t pinion and up to a 35, maybe higher but I didn't try.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Neal
