My buddy makes them, he also makes front shock protectors for people that run on carpet. It goes over the top of the front shock tower so it doesnt hit when on its lid or get stuck/grab the carpet or astro. I can link you up with him on facebook if you want. add me Randy Schroeder in michigan

I am brand new to Xray and just bought an XB4 2016 and am in the process of building. I need help with the rear hubs. I purchased the Xray rear aluminum hubs but not sure on the proper setup. The aluminum hubs are not as wide as the stock hubs so I'm unsure how many spacers to use and where to put them (in front of or back of the hubs). The stock setup for dirt has you put a 2mm spacer in front of the hubs however with the aluminum I need probably another 4mm or so of spacers and don't know where to put them. Also, what is the stock setting (assuming rear middle hole) and is 4mm or 5mm of spacers on top the stock setting? Thanks for your help in advance.

Yes, just pry it up from the inside with the tip of an Xacto knife.

Put it in the middle. No worries. You'll need to play with this your 1st practice day anyways. Err towards the rear.

You could just install the plastic ones, then eyeball the tie rod angle, then replicate it with the Al hub carries.

Rearward, more steering, more oversteer.
Forward, more grip, less steering and sliding.
