Sweet ride Pumichan!

Unfortunately, I have only visited their shop once to check it out. I am a proud new dad of a 3 month old boy, so free time doesn't happen very much right now. lol

But, I am putting all of my cars together because I will be getting some practice time in up there soon, or maybe even a race day.

How often do you get up there?

Congrats on being a new dad! Enjoy the time with your newborn...they grow sooo fast! I have 2 little ones also so I don't make it up to MRH as often as I'd like. Twice a month maybe? I plan on racing vta and f1 when they move back indoors for races.

I'll probably be there this Sunday. Lemmie know if you ever go, I'd like to check out your cars and maybe we can swap parts?

Sounds like a plan, bud. If you need spares just let me know. I have so much stuff that I will probably never get to use lol

I have been watching the MRH page too, and it looks like 17.5 TC and 17.5 1/12th are the busier classes. I'm a Tamiya nut so I am on the lookout for a supremely discounted RM01 to maybe try 1/12th out in addition to TC...

The 1/12 cars look fun. A lot of guys are running in the 21.5 tub chassis class. I just picked up a new ta03R mobile 1 nsx to run

Default Battery Tray issue solved...

HI Guys: Thanks for your help in getting me the part number etc. for the battery tray when I switched to a CF Chassis. I wanted to run a square lipo, and found that that it would fit, but there was no good way to keep the battery from sliding left and right. Well, Shorty lipos are the answer! By trimming the battery side holders ever so slightly, the Shorty fits in great, and reduces some weight, which solved my traction roll problem as well. Heres a snapshot of what im talking about.

I'm still experimenting with the longer axles, I'll post again when my 5x12mm bearing arrive...

Nicely done!

the only other option that I have seen, although kind of cumbersome, is to either use velcro straps or threaded strapping tape to hold the battery packs in place. Velcro allows you to swap packs out much easier, but if you don't get industrial strength you could end up dragging your battery down the straightaway...Strapping tape shows up on guys cars all the time, but it leaves adhesive behind and you have to re apply it every so often.

You are very welcome! I'd rather someone use it than have it collect dust. Lol

If anyone needs parts or has a good source we should post it on the board. I know its not a lot of us running these ole timers much anymore so we oughtta look out for each other

I try to buy large lots of 03 parts that folks want to get rid of so let me know what you need and I might have an extra

Don't think those will fit. I did find these online, pretty pricey though.
