I use the arm that comes with the kit, never had a problem with it.
It is a straigth arm...

Hey Bent,
You mentioned earlier that you prefer a metal diff when the traction is high? (or did I get that backwards>?)
my car came with a rear metal diff so I never got a chance to play/experiment between the two

Looking for a good starting point in regards to pinion size.
I'm running a Tekin Gen2 6.5 w/81t spur.
Here is a pic and video of my local track:
(sorry, pic is a little small)

Hi can anyone tell me the advantage of running a RR+2 rear hanger and do you have to run it with the FR+2 hanger?
Cheers

The +2 hinge pin holders are used to alter the roll center when removing the rear part of the split chassis.
And yes the RR and FR holders are used together.
More info and illustrations are found in the 2014 supplementary sheet here:

Had an absolute shocker with this car last race meet, had a suspension arm break in the last qualifier, then in the first final, a slower car misjudged the triple jump and landed on top of my buggy snapping the front bulkhead where the shock tower is connected and the front Uni failed (the pin punched through the plastic retaining collar)
Have a spare XB4 and while I have ordered replacement parts (and Exotek Collars) am wondering if it is worth keeping the 2nd unit as spares if breakages are common, or call it a fluke and just keep a couple of spares and sell the spare?

Nexxus you can fix that pin from happening by going to a pin with a flat spot and a grub screw, screwed into the cv shaft.
Because I was told its a common problem with the xb4.
Other then that is a monster of a car. Love it to bits I also snapped the front bulkhead after hitting a tree with it coming over a triple.

Yeah got the exotek cups on order from NBHC along with a new bulkhead not sure if it will get to me in time for Friday (postage just said flat rate) so am using the spare car to rebuild my racer, which is just as well as I found I'd bent a hingepin and the two front eccentric bushes had disintegrated too. Also found I was way overgeared for 17.5 (FDR was 5.8) which would explain a lack of punch up to the jumps. Just going to go back to kit set up for Clay but with the track width at it's widest so I can get some more stability for now.

What was a tree doing on your triple
I went to the orange exotek cva covers from nbhc too. The $10 flat rate is express, however they may take a day or two to post. I was told a few pages back that the pin punching through is a symptom of dry cvas - took me 4 months + going back to mod to get one to punch through.
I was at 69/30 with my reedy m2 17.5 @ 35-40 deg. Dunno what that fdr equates to (forgotten the idr). I had reasonable punch over the jumps (but my track requires cornering speed rather than punch out of the corners).
What setup are you running? I was running Boz's setup with a few shock tweaks...

Has anyone tried the avid pistons for this car, and if so could you tell a difference and what size did you get.
