I cut the spacer section off the rear. Do I also have to dremel the plastic section of the chassis that the gear box ledge rests on so everything can lay flat on the chassis. As it sits now it wont lay flat because it hits that piece.

There's a carbon fiber shim that usually goes between the composite chassis and the gear box, when you run the gear box against the chassis you don't run the spacer. So you're really removing two spacers to do the mod.

Thanks

Paul

I ground down the rear hanger part that over hangs the chassis, the screws didnt want to go back in properly, am i suppose to grind down the entire flat spot that sits on the chassis so the screws go back in the rear hanger properly? And does the front rear hanger need filing as well?

You need to gently file the inner "rounded" edges of the RR Hanger to allow it to sit flat on the chassis. It does not require a lot of material to be removed. 7-8 passes each side with a decent file might do it. There should be no issue with screwing back down then.

The RF hanger does not need any modification.

If you don't like simply, put the removed piece back under the great case and screw everything back together. It's totally reversable. The '14 spec car comes with the rear chassis piece already modified.

Not on mine. I had to file the carrier to get it to fit. Easy job though.
