the dog in the video is awesome. My dog would want to be a part of the race, or at least chase them down.

What is a good starting point for shock oil for the 4x1.8 pistons?

I run the dynamic 3700 10L and depending on track I am 16-18. anything under 15 and it over revs on medium to large track.

Ha ha thanks I won't be able to make it there on a Friday for awhile. I was off that week and figured I would try it out. It was fun. I'm gonna go Saturday and just run through some packs..... Much more relaxing lol!

Ive never raced but i fooled around on the astro turf track and the truck traction rolled a lot (with proline pin point tires, which do hook up really good). I need to get shorter front springs.

On very smooth carpet on mini pins the truck was run with the front shocks std but rear laid down more. Run as low as you can get it and the truck is awesome. My truck won the last round of the UK Nationals (in someone else's hands) with this setup. We did trim 50% of the pins off the front tyres 25% inside and 25% outside and one row of the rears on the outside to help tame the grip roll.

Howdy fellas. Had a first version SCT410. Really liked it. Got caught up in work and family things and didn't get to the track for a while so sold almost all of my stuff. Looking like I'll be back to racing around spring . I think Santa might be bringing me a 410.3. I'm working on reading this thread in it's entirety and noticing (at least up to page 80 or so) that the common issue is with the kit suspension, particularly the rear. I'll be racing on medium grip indoor clay, smooth/slightly bumpy, with fair share of smaller/medium jumps (no huge air). Anyone have a decent suspension (pistons, springs, oils) setup that they're liking? Been seeing green f/pink r or pink/pink suggested often. Obviously not expecting dialed but would like to get th bits and pieces to build it with the first time to be in a better ballpark than stock. Have a Viper VTX8 esc and likely going to go with a Hobbywing 4000/18 pinion to start. Hot tires M4 Electrons where I plan on running if that helps. Thanks gents. Always liked the Tekno drivers for tips and such
