Should do, might need some tweaks as in Mod they tend to jump on the brakes etc.

An oldy but a goody. Just thought I'd share a pic of my T3 '12 in action at the TFTR Masters event on the weekend where I finished 7th in the A Main of 21.5 boosted class -

3racing CVD's

We run silvercan for stock racing locally, so wouldnt be an issue with too much power for them.
I personally cant justify/afford the cost of the Xray genuine part.
I have the 3racing ones in my t3-12 and Spec R in my t3-11. 3racing ones have rebuild kit available. Don't feel any different but I like the look of the Spec R design a bit better. For the price you can't go wrong, both fit perfectly.

Im curious about gear ratios in a 17.5 non boosted TC. I was wondering what would be the differances from the two spurs 92 vs 96. What would be chosen to be faster of the two. Would a 96 spur with 48 pinion be faster or a 92 spur and a 48 pinion? We have a big track, sweeping turns and long straight, pavement! Any help would be nice.

Best way to remember about ratios, the closer to equal the two gears (pinion/spur) are the more top end. The farther away you go the more acceleration. Sounds like the 92 spur will be quicker for you.

Hi Guys,

running a T3 '12 in a 17.5 blinky class on foams. I have the smallest spur gear that XRAY make in 64p. Can any one recommend some aftermarket gears that are smaller that the XRAY gear that are designed for the T3?

Mark

R.W. Racing make spurs specifically for Xray ( and others )
Xray sizes available.
64Dp available from 80 tooth to 136 tooth.
48Dp available from 45 tooth to 105 tooth.

Dont know of the Aus stockists but RAB hobbies and Metro hobbies in Melb can get them in.
Hope this helps

Cheers

I run 17.5 blinky with rubber tire and always use 96-104 spur gear. Why are you using such a small spur gear? Is it a small track? Maybe you need larger pinions?
