Awesome on the front axles guys, thank you. The shop where I race is flooded with Associated parts, so that makes it easier to do a switch.

I'll have to put some serious thought into this for next season or maybe for the new indoor track opening up by us. We still race outdoor all winter so I'd have plenty of time to play with it and get a feel for tuning.

Thanks.

Default water

They are spraying HIGH QUALITY H2O AKA water. they soak it at night and its great in the morning. When its raining the moister stays in the track and you can run slicks. Its Dialed.

Cool, I was wondering if it was fruit punch or something, we sometimes do that to run slicks, the rest of the time its clay panthers or pink tapers

I'm looking forward to see the setup David A. arrived at. The tracks I race on are very similar to the one he's racing on this weekend. Of course, I'm looking forward to getting the car too.

Dave G. great job on this car, how long now? I'm giddy like a school kid to get this thing!

Default us too

Tony- Yeah when it does dry out its pink tapers or switches here to just depends on mother nature. If its cool or rainy its slicks if its dry then back to tapers. The car looked real good on slicks or tapers. We were runing tapers Friday for practice becasue it was humid and dry. Saturday was raining.
Congrats on the new deal man.

It was a good weekend. The 2wd mod mains came down to the final main. In the final of 3 it was between myself and 2 other drivers to win. I had a chance but as the track dried out it was back to pin tires and I made a bad tire choice and chose panther tires instead of pinks tapers...had a bit too much rear bite. At the end of the main we were about 1/2 of a straight-away apart. I came up with 2 setups. One a basic setup, this is what I would recommend starting with. Another I had with slicks on, I ran this setup in the final main with treads, it will make the car more aggressive. With the tracktion and slicks I thought the car was awesome. I tried a lot of things this weekend, including some Losi springs, anti-squat, various camber locations...etc.

I can honestly say, this car is just as fast as anything else, and it is right out of the box, no plastic chassis to buy or anything like that...I even ended up with the same springs the come in the kit.

Here are the results from this weekend... top 5...all I can remember

2wd mod

1. Chris Baumgartner - Kyosho RB5
2. Mack Vanderbeek - AE B4
3. David Alberico - Academy - GV2
4. Rod Rippee - AE B4
5. Chad Parks - AE B4

Basic Setup...

Front

camber 3 - C 2 #4 washers under the ballstud
steering - stock rack with one #4 washer on the spindle
MLP - narrow
Shocks - 1 hole academy pistons, 27.5 Losi oil - white spring
shock at middle hole in arm, middle in tower
27.5 aluminum caster kickup

Rear

stock 2 degree's of anti-squat
camber 2 - B no washers
shocks no limiting ( may look like a lot of droop) 25wt losi oil, academy 2 hole pistons white springs
shocks mounted middle in arm and #3 in tower
MLP narrow

tires - 7206P's and 7273P.

Slicks's setup....

Front

camber 3 -C 2 #4 washers
steering rack with one #4 washer under spindle
front shocks .30 limiting 27.5 losi oil, white spring
shock on inside hole in arm middle hole in tower
30 degree caster block
MLP wide

Rear

2 deg anti-squat
camber 2 - A(hub) no washers
MLP - narrow
shocks 27.5, 2 hole pistons white springs
shocks middle in arm #2 in tower

Here are some pic of the car and track....
