The 2014 car is saddle position only so no shorty setup and no the 2015 parts for this won't work on the 14 car. If it's a used 14, look out for worn out out drives and shafts and most importantly the slippers tightness. If the slipper is cranked down this will without a doubt prematurely wear the composite gears in the dif and cause the car to be undriveable and unbearable from the noise. They are relatively inexpensive to replace as far as xray parts go.

All of the xb4s are tanks. It is very hard to break the car. Parts are more expensive but rarely break. For example I've only broken a single front a arm on the car and that was only due to a tube having its stake literally hanging out on a track I was visiting. Easiest and fastest car to work on ever.
The kit is used but it doesn't look too beat up. From what I see it doesn't look bad. I did not k ow that it was a saddle only chassis. That right there might be a killer. I figured it was changeable but if it isn't then I might wait for the 16 or get a 15 when they drop in price.

Thanks for the information it is greatly appreciated

New 3 pad slipper and the center shafts have changed lengths again. So I recon the slipper has moved forward 10-15mm. There is a foam spacer for the battery, so the battery may have been moved further forward too.

I hope the new bulkheads cover the holes in the bottom of the chassis properly now. I'm tired of seeing inside of the bulkhead full of dust/dirt.

There's a new 2mm chassis and hard side pods, different front arms, rear hub carriers, shock towers and motor mount as well.

MB Models, a shop in the UK, has a lot of the new parts listed in the XB4 spares section.

I did a quick forum search but couldn't find an answer. Are there any other US online retailers besides Amain.com and Absolute Hobbyz for Xray parts?

I am looking for an XRAY Steel Bevel Drive Gear (14T) (XRA365134) and they are out of stock on Amain.com. I also checked Ebay but they only have the composite gear.

It appears Absolute hobbyz has the part but their shipping is kind of high compared to Amain.com.

The LHS in the area don't carry XRAY due to the stipulations so that is why I am looking online.

Thanks,

Thanks but that website doesn't exist Not sure if you were joking about that recommendation or if you were serious and something was missing from the address.

Thanks again,
