but then don't you have to tune with different foam disks needed to insert above between bladder and shock-cap?
And isn't it difficult to make 4 the same foams every time, as the thickness of this foam must make a difference, I guess.

I've been using the alloy spacers and the thicker they are the more rebound you get. 2mm gives me pretty much full rebound and 1.5mm is half that and 1mm is almost none. No making and guessing here and I've been getting the same rebound on all 4 shocks so far

What "alloy" spacers?

Its about pack... do not overwill the shocks w/oil.

Yeah, I'd probably use o-rings since they don't compress as much. At the moment, I'm running exclusively on high-traction carpet, and the car seems happier with less rebound, so I'm not messing with with adding anything inside. Shock caps are inexpensive, so it's easy enough to have another set on hand if you want to build them back up the normal way.

MuchMore makes a set of foam disks for above the bladders that has been the best way I've found to fine tune if you're running a hole in the cap. They come in a set with 3 thicknesses and then super thin double sided tape incase you want to make your own sizes.

I will be running the 3800 this weekend in 13.5 against the SMC and TP packs. I'm sure I'll be more than happy with the power. Scotty ran a 3600 at last years Reedy and won one of the Amain races with it against the SMC and whatever else others were running. Too many people bench racing C ratings.

Hi Guys,
Why you don't use Tamiya Springs? Are them not so good compared with other out there?
Thanks for your feed back.

Eh, I'm not a huge fan of bench racing, or mythical C ratings. I'm glad they're working out well for you guys. I'm sure your team manager is thrilled!

I'm not putting down any other manufacturers products, I just saw that someone is claiming you will smoke the Orion batts with other brand batteries, and in my experience that couldn't be further from the truth.

i bet you could check a lot of springs and most of them would be close but different enough. somehow i dont believe they are made with such strict standards as maybe the k-factory or x-ray springs.
