I only had two of the JR 9000s's left over in my box so I went ahead and installed them in both spots on my 8ight-T. I figured that it wouldn't have enough torque for the truggy but I tried it anyway. I was WAY off. that servo is perfect.....it's fast as hell and it whips those tires around with ZERO trouble.
I'm going to swap my JR 9000t I have in my 8ight out also and see how I like it.
Why do you think everyone always says you need big time torque for a buggy or truggy?
I've been into 1/8 scales for a couple years and I always thought you needed something over 200oz/in. The 9000s only has 128oz/in

streetracer - I'm not really sure, I don't have any experience with the Revo.
Justin - I think tough servos are usually seen as an insurance policy against failures. Those servos should be fine. I've just gotten into using 94360's in my buggies.
Everyone else - Either thanks for the answers, or I hope your questions got answered! Haha.

I'll be getting ready for Silver State. As far as I know, my electric appearances this year will be self-limited to Shootout and Reedy Truck Race!
What kit is my name on, let alone spelled incorrectly?

Oh, hahaha. Everyone spells my name wrong. Perhaps it was lost in the English/Taiwan translation?

Aaron,
On the Eight what does changing the bump steer up and down do to the car?
Thanks...Greg

Greg - The stock setup is more forgiving and will make the car more predictable. Flipping the balls will add bump-out and make the car more aggressive.
ape_x - It SHOULD be any time now.
Bigedmond - I'm not 100% sure. I'd like to make it, but I haven't heard any plans for my dad and I to be there.
Cody - Haha. I had someone at Starbucks spell it "Earen". I couldn't believe it.

Hey Aaron what is the best way to brack in a new diff on the xxx-cr buggy?

To break in new diffs, tighten the diff (dont crank down though) and grab a tire and give it gas. Do that for a minute or so, then check the diff screw again, make sure to tighten it back up, but dont crank down on it. Then grab the other tire and do the same. I do this for 5-10 minutes.
