So far I have used it on carpet foams and rubber tire asphalt and I like the feel of the car more with it.
You are now tasked with keeping me up to date on all Mi2EC modifications! :P

nice, can't wait to see what you guys come up with. I'm using the KISS method right now and it seems to be working for me for now.
Anxious to see your car run next weekend with that steering mod. Might give it a good liniar feel.

That's what I'm hoping for. I've got a little list of things to try next week. Are you going to be able to go or are you working?

Wanted to check and see what has to be done to get the MI2 car (older version) to be able to use the current crop of batteries...3800, 4200, ect.
Any info would be great.
Thanks

You can get a BMi2 chassis from Jason. His are cut to fit the larger cells.

Schumacher sells a different chassis for the Mi2 to fit the larger cells which is another option. If you have a chassis that still uses a battery tray Schumacher also makes just a battery tray that's designed to fit the larger cells. Or you could just use a file and enlarge the battery slots until the big cells fit right. That's the cheapest method .

That mod looks nice Jon, please post your impressions once youve track tested it, and if possible please do an A -B test with the regular ackerman (mid bellcrank with 40.8mm trackrod) and your new setup.
is it an off the shelf part from another manufacturer for the carbon plate with bearings?
