So the camber settings are -0.5° and -2.1° according to my measurements.
I suspect tamiya will release -1.5° and -2.5° king pin mounts in the future.

My one is almost finish... only waiting for wiring and electric setup.

Need some advise from you guys, since I am new to electronic cars, I dunno what is best pinion for the motor.. the one comes with the kit is 24gear. I am running a 17.5T motor and a Hobbywing Xtreme Stock ESC (60A). Thank you.

I normally use 21.5t motor and run 2.8-3.0 fdr.
96 spur and 24 pinion is 4.0 fdr. I would start with that and if the motor temp is ok I would use bigger pinion.

You know what dude just try the pinion and spur that came in the kit ...run the car for a couple minutes only then check the temp...you dont want that motor to go beyond 160 f.....after a couple minutes if the motor isnt that hot run the car for a 5 minute run and check the temp if it still isnt that hot go up a tooth on your pinion and go from there....just never let the motor temp go beyond 160f

You can run the F104 entire front end, right? Be curious which front end is faster

I think it would just require the f104 servo mounts to fit. Pretty sure these mounts are taller.

Those long screws are a pain in the butt when I need to change camber or front height.

I get to find out tomorrow if trf101 will out run my f104v2.

do you really need to run a fan on the ESC for these cars?

Motor is Tamiyas Formula Tuned, a 32T brushed motor that's used as the standard motor in Tamiya F1 races in Japan.

When the chassis starts to spin out the gyro will counter steer for you. If the chassis starts to spin when either turning into a corner or when wheels spin coming out of the corner depending on how you have set up the gyro it will correct the steering so will help keep it on line. It means you can run softer front tyres for more steering grip for faster cornering without worrying about the car spinning out.
here's a good demonstration http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90dQlBmfV2I

Got it, thanks for all the comments from you guys, in conclusion, I will take the 24t pinion from the kit and test run for few minutes then check the motor temp. if it is not more than 160f then I can go for higer tooth. Any idea about the highest range of tooth I should get, 33t?

Any one can answer the question from "merkyworks" above in regards to the cooling fan, do I need to put the fan for the esc or better place it at the motor...... OR just leave it, thank you.

It depends on the ESC used, but unless you go for a really cheap 25-35A rated ESC then there's no need for a fan.
