Not sure about those tires, but with CS27's in Vegas we ran PW's asphalt setup with a oneway and a couple minor changes to adjust to the increasing grip through the week.

mutley, has anyone actually seen any of those tyres yet?? I was told this afternoon that not that many had been seen...............

anyway, i have been working on a carpet set-up with rubbers. So far, i would say go with either PW's asphelt setup of Teemu's euros setup as your base. I have then gone up 4lb on front spring, and fitted a one-way. Have only done one club race so far, so i wouldn't say my set-up is finished, but that is where i am at the moment.

I ran the ING tires a couple of years ago on carpet, not sure what temp rating, but the setup was close to the 27's. I found they went away a little quicker the the 27's

Are you guys making some sort of modification to get 2 degrees of toe in in the rear or are there blocks that allow for that setting? If there are blocks please send a part number.

The 2.5 deg U2742 alloy blocks actually give the car closer to 2deg than 2.5

JON KERR: hey there! thanks for e-mailing me your current set-up... i have a few questions though, how did you attain a front roll center of 2mm & a rear roll center of 3mm... is this thru the riser plates? at the front arm position, is this the wheelbase position of the arms? thanks!

No Problem. Happy to help. Front roll center of 2mm is just the riser plate. 3mm roll center is the riser plate plus a 1mm shim under each pivot block. And yes, the front arm position is the wheelbase adjustment on the front arms.

3mm isn't all that high. Some of the guys have run 4mm in low grip situations. You usually want to run about a 1mm higher roll center in the rear. When I need more steering and lower the front roll center to 1mm, I'll usually lower the rear to 2mm to keep the balance.

Hmm I didnt know that.. I usually just run 1mm spacers up front and the stock plate in the rear and it has worked fine for mostly all the tracks out here.

Cheers for the assist guys and yes I have seen the tyre but not actually run them myself yet (the works guys at my club have been testing them out!)
I guess i'll go with PW's setup and modify from there too!

Let you know how I get on on Sunday.....
