Look at the 3rd pic down, I made new spindles and the 1/4" wide spacer to get them to fit.

Damn guys! It's all your fault over here in this topic! No more doubts, no more whishing... I just ordered my own F104 Pro.

Going to make it a ING Renault. Especially now ING per direct has stopped the sponsorship due to the 'crashgate'.

Default fitting tires to wheels

I'm in the process of building my f104, but have a question around the tires and wheels fitting.

I've noticed that on the front wheels when I position the foams on the wheels that I have about 2-3mm of the inside of the wheel showing...is this right. The rear's appear to be the same as well

I would assume that the tires and wheels line up, but before I go taping up etc I just want to make sure I'm not making a rookie mistake.

Mine were the same way -- leave the gap on the inside.

You should be able to stretch the rears all the way across, you just need to work them a little
The fronts will probably leave about 2-2.5 mm of rim showing

Yeah I just went and looked -- my rears cover the whole rim.
