Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

As soon as the manuals are posted for the b6/6d; I will see what can cross over by comparing part #'s.

So far, shocks/slipper/ball diff seem to be the same.

Can't wait to get my hands on this! B6D does not look like a bid departure from the B5M but sometimes change isn't easy to see and it is the little things that make the biggest impact! The one that interests me the most is the B6! Looks like a sweet ride!

Have a guy here that runs a B5M with the laydown tranny/high grip box on a Med to High bite track and he is pretty damn fast with it. It is a dirt track and the traction is somewhat on and off but lately he has this figured out pretty well and VERY Competitive with his B5M Laydown Tranny. So basically, i would venture to say that the B6 would probably do better than you think in a Med bite track if you take the time to play around with it!

Either way can't wait to get one!

The C and D mounts on the B5M do not work with either B6. The only real crossover parts are the differential, slipper, driveshafts, and shocks.

Curious which version most in the States are pre-ordering, B6 or B6D?

Next to the B5 with that heinous body, this thing looks like the Mona Lisa....
Im gonna have to cop me one!

Obviously theyre built for specific conditions but it would be nice if the B6 had a gear cover so you could throw it in the dirt once in a while without worrying about tearing the gears up....

Default stunning performance

If you get a chance, watch the EOS videos, the chassis looks incredible - pre-ordered right after that.

They uhh...kinda got spanked. I was impressed with a debut chassis doing so well against seasoned, tuned cars. Granted, the AE team is uber talented, the rest of the field are also awesome drivers.

I don't think AE could have expected that good of an outcome the first time out. Watch the videos, car looked stellar.

I did. I'm not sure I can "see that fast".

The car in the videos look very good. But as everyone here knows those are the best drivers in the world. How it translates to us mere mortals is the question. I pre-ordered one as well.

I'm pre-ordering the B6. Who do you guys think will get it sooner, Amain or Tower?

I've had bad experiences with pre-ordering and one vendor seems to get more stock than another, then I'm waiting for weeks and weeks for my pre-order to come in.

Tower seems to have a better coupon, at the moment but I think both should get it around the same time.

I think I see my kits in the red container

.My bet is on Tower.

I pre-ordered the Factory Lite last year (Gotta Have it!, Gotta Have it!) and it was not a necessary thing. It never was out of stock, they get a ton of Associated kits on a new product launch.

I plan to buy both at same time for a big coupon code and ecash promo week probably in July
