That's awesome, and possibly proof of concept as well.

Since this is a VTA dedicated site. I would like to mention the tracks that support and race VTA.

I am planning on racing at PT raceway near Pittsburgh.

here is their face book page.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/PT-Ra...49886715131894

Please post the tracks that you have supporting the VTA classes , lets try to get this information out there and hopefully it will grow and we can get the falcon nova and dart bodies made

The Grove in Rock Hill, SC supports VTA as a breakout class. Laps faster than 15 seconds do not count.
They are working on developing a USGT class that is NOT a breakout class.

I haven't been there yet, but Bush River Raceway in Columbia, SC races VTA as well.

Nope, you'll need a little more than that. Will need a 66 Dart, 66 Plymouth Barracuda, 63, 66, (& maybe 67) Ford Falcon, 67 & 68 Mustang coupes (both normal and Shelby front ends and need Shelby front end bodies for 66 Mustangs too), 67 Chevy II/Nova, 67 Camaro (different front parking lights/turn signals and had vent windows, maybe done with decals and a partial filler piece), 67 & 68 Cougars, 67 & 68 RS nose Camaros (could be done with scrap lexan cut to fit the grille and decals on the 68), 68 69, & 70 Javelin, 68 & 69 Firebird (both chrome bumper and the 69 rubber baby buggy bumper special, a.k.a. 69 Trans AM and Formula with both the Trans Am Shaker hood scoop and Formula twin ram air hood scoops), AND finally the 70 & 71/72 Chevrolet Camaro (both full & split bumper and SS & RS variants as well as 70 small and 71/72 large rear spoilers). And guys, this is just the SCCA A Sedan/Trans-AM class. There are also the lower Sedan classes, Production classes and GT classes that ran with the Trans-AM cars at most of the races. Notable A production and B Production bodies available are the HPI 67 Corvette (A & B Production) and the 65/66 Mustang fastbacks (all B Production). That's why the 65 & 66 Shelby Mustang Fastbacks came with the spare tire where the back seat was supposed to be instead of the back seat. Allowed them to run in the 2 seat B Production Class where they did very well.

Rick Vessel, from what I understand the cost of licensing fees/approval killed it.
