I still can't wrap my head around the idea of this making a noticeable change, damn toy cars are sooo sensitive!

Default Spacers

Are you guys referring to the spacers between the shock tower and shocks? And lower at and shocks?

AMEN!! But it did make a difference doing it back to back runs. Its very minor though. Its not going to net you the magic .2 everyone always looks for I guess if you look at a Tamiya shock compared to our shock the Tamiya probably has 2-3mm built in because of the ball mount it has where ours sits really flat against the tower.

Between the Upper shock mount and tower and lower shock mount and arm. Most of the time you do it even. But we were 4 on upper and 3 on lower front and rear. Some went back to 2 upper and lower.

Thanks Gary...My car was super dialed. So easy to drive and really fast. I have posted my setup on Xray's website in case anyone cares or wants to see it.

I made a pretty critical error on my 13.5 car, which I found after the fact, but was still able to manage a 2nd place overall. My car was pretty wicked to be honest!

Just to check, anyone here running on foams? I'd like to compare some simple set up changes with different drivers...

Question,

What is the best way to check for bent bulkheads? Via putting the car on the blocks? or stripping the car and checking the blocks individually?

Thank you

Regards
Nathan

Just wanted to throw this small bit of info i learned out to others.

Check your rear hinge pins, I was struggling with the rear end of the car making all types of changes to keep it planted & what I found was one of the pins slightly bent, could not notice it by eye but it did roll funny when taken off the car. I have taken for granted how strong this car is & after 10 weeks of wacking walls i bent some stuff lol,
