They should, but yok is lacking in the technology. It make take them a while to get to hang with the cars of today, however the car can win with a good setup though. Who knows? Maybe they should hire a bunch of Yok fans and get em to drive.

Exactly! How about bringing in some new talent, to drive the nitro sedans? Maybe, a nitro "only" team?

Tehere was good drivers runing for Yokomo (Chris Verano for example) over the GT4 base, but i dont know what happened ...

I met Masami Hirosaka during the PRE-Worlds (200mm nitro in Brazil) and he was very satisfied with the GT6 prototype he was testing (project in charge of his father, Mr. Masaaki Hirosaka), but suddenly they gave up the project ... on the Preworlds Masami and his prototype were about to win the race but with engine problems they ended up in 4th place ...

Wow! That really blows. I know there were a lot of people waiting for that car to be released. What a shame. It sounded very promising. Funny... just when it seems as though the nitro touring car battle for top dog was heating up, Yokomo bails when they were in position to capitalize on the craze. Go figure?!
Were there any pics of the prototype?

I know nothing about sedans or the GT-4 II RTR specifically. I am looking at a used one for sale to mess around with.

How are these sedans compared to the other popular ones?
Comes with the stock .18. Does it haul booty?
Would you recommend I buy the GT-4 II or should I look for another model?

Any weak links to look out for? Any oter tips for a newb with sedans.

Thanks!

What happened to this car?? I was hoping to pick up a RTR II or , if I could find one, a W2L as a sceond track car because I sold the R40, decided to pass on the G4/Goose, and have the NTC3 put away for the rest of the season. Is this car still competitive cause I can find parts no prob and I think it looks cool still.

Anyone got an idea on when this thing will be updated? Not just a RTR III but really updated to laydown servo and centrax clutch style.

I just think it will never be updated again ... the GT6 project from Yokomo died in March 2004 ...

I still have and run my GT4W2L on regular basis and its very competitive against mugens and serpents ... and still there a lot of parts on the market, but im starting to run my Team Magic G4 now ... im mad about Yokomo ... i have tons of parts for almost 2.5 cars !!! ...

That's sad cause they have a really good car. Well as long as it is still alive I will see if I can get a RTR and build up from there. Thanks for the info.
