White springs with a dab of yellow on them(med)and 350 wt oil I think. I found it too soft out of the box.

Depends on who are you racing against.........and how light is your TA05. If you are talking about bone stock TA05 (even TA05R) race against sponcered drivers @ A-main....yes, TA05 should not be competitive to WIN. But I am sure TA05 is capable to HANG with them.....

How do I increase ride height using the basic kit?
My chassis is rubbing against the road that I run on and caused a lot a lot of scratches under the car.

Tecrix- you will get some C shaped plastic parts on a sprue with the kit, the same size as the shock body, they come on the same sprue as the top mount of the suspension and are of various sizes depending on how high or low you want to make the suspension. You just clip them on the shock body inbetween the top of the suspension (below the screw top joint) and the spring collar.
I think come in 1,3 and 5mm in size with the kit from what I remember.
hope that helps

Stock TA04 suspension arms?
Hi guys,
My TA05R seem to have bent hinge pins pretty often. Those pins are usually bent at the section where it supposed to stuff in quite a few spacers before the suspension ball end.
It was mentioned in this thread earlier that the stock TA04 arms are much tougher than the LW reversable arms that come with TA05R and the arms take up more of the entire hinge pins with lesser spacers required. I am seriously considering to replace the entire suspension section with the TA04 parts.
Comments? if any...
Appreciated.
Thanks!

TA-05R spinouts
Hi all,
I am relatively new to all of this, and find that my TA-05R with a silver can motor spins out whenever I go around a corner or put on almost full lock.... I have been mucking around with diff tensions etc to try and overcome it, but wonder if anyone has had a similar experience. I am running TO27 tyres???

Tyres are THE most important tuning tool for handling.
If you have the wrong tyres for the place youre using your car, it can very easily spin out,or just understeer. No amount of differential resetting will change that.
All I can suggest you do is take the suspension off each corner and see if each arm is moving up and down freely. If one is jamming up the chances are your hinge pin is bent and needs replacing, that could help things.
If not that, try different tyres and take it from there.
hope that helps
