your opinions will be apreciated.
Have finished mounting everything back on the car with the servo in front of the 5 cell pack. I used a full size sanwa servo as i didnt want to hack off the ears of a 9550 just yet.

Good news full steering throw, and L to R balance is out by a mere 15 grams. With a 9550 it will be perfect L to R.

I even think there will be enough room to keep the forward ear on the servo and use a servo mount for more solid servo mounting. The rear ears will still need to be chopped to clear the cells.

Bad news is that the car is still a good 1450 with rubbers. 100 grams over the EFRA weight. Apart from the 10 grams of the smaller servo, not sure where to shed weight. rid the swaybars but thats only another 10.

Some feedback from some 5 cell racers apreciated.

Yeah, I'll be at the KO, I really enjoy comming to that race, always a lot of fun...

At the national a few weeks back at West London, i ran this setup from the BTCC but i used 40/45 oil, 8mm rebound and 1.5 front piviot block instead...
Thats where I'll be starting on the Vtec tyres this weekend too...

See ya at the weekend,
Stew

Default hara build guide

In the Hara build guide it looks like he puts spacers on the shock shaft to limit down travel.

Is this in the front or the rear?

Does anyone know where to get the clear washer that he install on the shock before the top cap?

Thanks

Jamie

Hey guys, I really don't know where to ask this question, I would rather ask it somewhere somewhat related rather make a new thread just for it...

Anyway, is the Hara T2.1 okay or should I get the Hara T2.2???

the 2.1 and 2.2 are pretty much the same... no major changes.
fellow racer has tried both...and prefers the 2.1's

Yeah they do, Muchmore and LRP are quite similar, both feel thicker than Orion though...
Recently I've been using Muchmore oil, 400wt all round...
