Looks good, Gryphun! Have you been to the new track? I went there on Sunday for practice and had a blast. I beat the heck out of my Shelby body though.

I have been trying to get out there but my wife gave birth to our son recently and have been stuck in a 'holding pattern'. Soon I will go. I have 3 formula 1 cars that I plan on bring with me (f104x1, f104 v2, and vbc flash)

EAMotorports has a great VTA battery, I use it now and love it after replacing the Gens Ace pack I had. The Gens Ace had plenty of punch up front and then died off towards the middle and was very flat at the end of the run. The EA battery is great throughout.

Trinity also released a STING battery which I would expect to be a good battery as well.

SMC packs are also very good quality packs for a low cost as well.

I was running a Venom 5000mah/40c battery that I've had for about a year. Been doing fine with it. But I bought that new Sting battery and it immediately took off .2 sec a lap.

It was a fair test too. No other variables. Took my fully charged venom went out on an empty track and was doing 11.5 lap after lap. Stopped, swapped out the battery and I think my first lap out was an 11.3. I was able to continue those times a couple minutes into the run.

New batteries do help...

+1 the EA is the best battery I have tried

I have run all the HPI bodies and the Javelin. The 68 Camaro handles best and is most durable BUT they are way too common

I am about to try the new Trans-am Mcallister with SWTour stickers

Gryphun,
Where did you get the stripes on the roof that match the Martini decals?

decals that I am using for the roof are from HPI Porsche Cup Racer sheet. The door handles and front/rear blinkers are from HPI 280Z Cup Racer sheet.
