Generally it gives a more natual drag brake feel... more over-all brakes... more consistant brakes through the end of the run.

You generally have to gear up the motor about 2 teeth on the pinion to get the top speed back.

Everything should be moving out the door steadily now... we had to wait on parts to complete the motors for shipment... but I believe everything is all sorted out now!

Hey Steve got an odd thing happening to a guy at my local track. Running a 3.5r sintered rotor on 6 cell 4200's with a GTB, anyway last Sat about two min's into the main, car just stops, well the rotor blew basically. The rotor was in about 20 pieces. So today, he buys a brand new rotor, runs a pack through it, no prob, second pack, two laps bang, same thing, rotor just blew apart. I'll attach a pic later. He bought a new 3.5 motor and ran the rest of the night with no issues. So he was wondering what is causing this exploding rotor syndrome?

The caps are not important... In fact we have stopped installing them in the motors here because they seem to work better without them

Stew,

Then what's broken off are not the capacitors like I thought... but the sensors inside the motor.

You can send the motor in to get replaced... it should be cheaper than buying a whole new motor!

it just seems like it doesn't have the voltage to move the motor cause if i spin it then hit the throttle it runs good but when i try to start it when its still the motor doesn't go anywhere

but anyway how much is a replacement for a 4300 ?

-thanks
