joe- i have never run on carpet with HRC; with the MRC (losi blocks), in combination with the 2F block and 4 caster, has yielded less steering overall for me. i prefer using the 'true' LRC in combination with the 2F pivot mount and 4 caster...i am able to drive the car deeper into the corners and more agressively (in general).

so... if i read you right, what you're saying is that the low roll center has more "effect" in terms of adding steering, as opposed to adding kick-up, which makes the car more forgiving?

highwayman- the LRC on the front achieves more steering in a different way than kickup; LRC allows the front end of the chassis to roll more, increasing front grip/steering. on carpet, you are running on an unusually smooth and consistent surface, so using kickup doesn't really work to the car's advantage. my best advice is to try achieving your desired caster in both approaches (ie a 2 kick and 4 caster and a 0 kick and 6 caster) and see which yields you the fastest (and CONSISTENTLY fastest) lap times. that is what i have done...

ever since i got my graphite chassie and put it on i have been giltching i put double sided tape on the tunnel where the battarie bars touch. what else could be causing it to giltch

be sure that your esc wire that routes next to the motor is not being pinched by the guide screws. to ensure that the screws do not break the wire jacket use orings under the guide screw heads.

if your local track uses analog amb transponders and your transponders mount is next to your receiver, install the transponder so that the ID label is facing away from the receiver.

also, dont let your receiver wire touch the chassis. put some fuel tubing over the receiver wire to prevent it from touching the chassis. try mounting your receiver in a couple different places. make sure your transmitter batteries are at a high voltage. try different crystals. cut your motor. put capacitors on the motor unless you have surface mounted capacitors. try a totally different motor. that is all i can think of to try and do. there isnt really anything else to really do.

One thing that was good fix at the Nats was RF Filters from JR. You can get them from Horizonhobby.com. I installed them on 5 cars that had glitch problems and it cleared the problems on all five cars.

They are installed by running the servo or esc control cable through the RF Filter. You can find a torroidial coil at your local electronics outlet but they might not cover the correct freq range.

Just go for the JR Filters. They work really well.

How do you have your reciver mounted ? Is it flat or on its side ? This can make a difference,Had the same problem,put the reciver on it's side no more glitching.

aside from carpet, i run the G+ on a very bumpy outdoor asphalt track, and im trying to get good steering, but still want my car to be able to absorb the bumps...
