Like to me-Serpent 30 feels like Associated 50 in the shock. Dont quote me on that-but thats what I thought when I had a whole stable full of Xrays (Evo2, T1 and Raycer).

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the T1 Raycer kit. I was planning on getting into onroad racing, but haven't decided on a car yet. From what I have read, the parts seem to be almost interchangable with the T1. I really wanted to get your feel on weather or not this an easy tunable and learnable car for a beginning onroader? Any help and comments are appreciated.

I heard people are now Taking The Tir and Putting the evo chassis Leaving everything else plastic...

Thanks guys. I was really studying the two cars to see differences, and didn't really see too much of a downside to the T1r.
I will be running on carpet, but I am not sure how long the indoor carpet season is going to last. We have a really nice outdoor well prepared asphalt track to run on also, so I will have plenty of time to run it.
My other concerns were with the more expensive and less forgiving nature of the carbon parts. I like the idea of plastic since, hopefully, it won't break nearly as much on me.
Any other advice for carpet racing on a very tight track?
Thanks for all the help, I think I have decided.

WEll For Carpet Teh Evo Is abetter Car. Because it Dont FLex As much Its more Stiff. But Thats Also Opinion. YOu can Get The Tir and Buy the Chassis And Top deck only have two chassis One for carpet and Asphalt. But its Opinion Wise

not sure, but at my track we are going the other way. Everyone is taking the ev02 and putting the t1r chassis on. It seems to take to carpet better. We have a couple of fast guys that are running that way

hehe Might be A State Thing dunno what i was told tir with evo chassis

Kinda centsless to buy a T1R and then buy a evo chassis(for a beginer). You would have spent all most as much for just a evo.But I see both points on the chassis swaps. But for a beginner it would be wise to buy T1R.IMO it is more forgiving than evo.And for price you really can't beet it.Kickind, get the T1R and spring set is all you would need to upgrade to.IMO.I work at hobby shop and have sold a dozen T1R's to novice drivers (Who beat the socks off the rtr losi and tc3's )And every one of them love the car and won't sell or trade them for any thing(beleive me I tried).
