I used a wheel axle and hit the old ones out with pliers. And just press the new ones on with the rotor.

I checked the temperature after the race it was around 140F. So I don't think it's overheating. I am using a 25c lipo battery and a tekin RS. both seems to be running at normal temperature.

I am not sure what is causing the loss of speed. And I can't begin to fix the problem without knowing what the problem is. I am not even sure if it is a motor issue. I am just trying my luck here on the SP forum. Anyone here has experienced similar situation?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Speed Power (same as Speed Passion) sells lipo, 6200mah, 65c for less then $60....I think it is time for the upgrade and get rid of those unknown problem.

Your lipo is way too low in mah and also low in C rating...you can buy something alot nicer for the same price you paid 2-3 years ago. Or even less...

Thanks Solara. Looks like it's time to buy some new batteries.

i have a question regarding 17.5 turn motors, yesterday i was tuning and getting my setting correct the motor was temping around 65 degrees it has plenty of punch and mid speed but seems to lack just a little on the top end not by much but in boosted racing the LRP motors seem to be faster.

i am running the 323 software 0 degrees on the motor
45 boost and 20 turbo punch set at 7

its fast of the line and through the mid feild but lacking the top end just a small amount but noticable.

is it possable that the LRP motors rev just a little harder ? i love the speed passion but with the nationals coming up in 6 weeks i want to be on the pace

thanks any advice

Matt,

Try a little more turbo. 1 degree at a time. What is your turbo ramp rate? Temps will be safe up to about 78-80C.

he is maxed out Zacha. 62 or 64 deg is Maxx. anythign past that point it will not add. so what ever he uses up first wether it be turbo, then it will add the rest of the boost to a max of 62 or 64 deg, not 100% sure on that number.

I'm looking for a good 12th scale setup using an GT EX2.1 ESC and a V3.0 1cell 3.5t Motor. Which timing-insert, software, settings would you recommend?

It seems like boost is required nowadays in 1/12th (?) Do you guys run Stock-software with mod motors in order to do that?

Try adding some motor timing. I always have more power when the SP motor's are set on 10 degrees instead of 0 or 5.
