Default First Class Customer Service

I want to share my experience with Tekin's customer service:

I posted a comment on here Sunday about an issue I was having with my new Redline 17.5. Randy Pike responded to me in PM asking for more details. I sent him photos of the issue with a brief description of what I thought was wrong. Randy and I traded a couple of emails and then he told me he was sending me a new motor I was NOT expecting that at all. I was expecting them maybe tell me what I need to do…maybe tell me to ship it in so they can look at it…then in a week tell me what to do next, etc. The fact that Randy looked into my issue personally and was very quick to help me out was amazing. About 30 minutes ago I got an email from Sherri Campbell telling me that Randy had spoken to her and she was putting my new motor in the mail. I am thoroughly impressed. So much so that I had to tell my wife about it...knowing she couldn't care less about my RC issues...and even she was impressed. This level of interest in customers is very rare and is much appreciated by me...and I hope by all who read this.

Again, I just want to say thank you for going the extra mile for me.

-Steve

(I edited my earlier post about this issue because I didn't want anyone trying to take advantage of Tekin.)

I often tell my wife about the "warranty" package I'm expecting.

I got my Tekin RS pro.
It's a lot smaller than my LRP sphere TC.
I have only one question. There are 2 ways to connect a brusshed motor.
With way is the best for the most power?

Saterday and sunday i'm going to test the Tekin with my brushless and my money motor.
Last race of the season and also the last race with a brushed motor.
Finaly we get brushless in stead of the 19T brushed.
So i hope my Tekin has more power than my LRP so i can qualify by the first 5.

Cap question: Should i just run 2 caps w/ everything 10.5 and 13.5 as well. If they reduce heat etc why not run 2 all the time? What about something like the speed passion supercap which is like 5 or so caps soldered in a row?

Wow, thats awesome. With customer support like that, Tekin will be around a long time and at the front of the competition. Maybe Novak should send some people over to take some lessons about customer service.

Of course you can, but beware the hotwire gives you access to levels of drag brake used for crawling (more than you can get changing on the speedo) so make sure you don't put too much...

sounds like something funky might have happened with the plug. Make sure that each pin is fully seated into the plug and making contact.
