It could be your battery. 3 minutes is when packs start to drop voltage, motors start to get warm, and tires start to lose/gain bite....

I had the same problem when running 1s as the motor was going soft due to heat at the 3 min point. On 1s the motor takes alot less heat to stop working well. I drop my rollout and this stopped.

You can try to calibrate the esc with the throttle epa turned down slightly and turn it back up afterwards. Sometimes a wandering endpoint in the radio causes the esc not to see full throttle.

Hi guys,

Last saturday, I ran my TCX on a outdoor track for the first time of the season.

I have a Orion Vortex 10.5 and a RS Pro with LV 212.

I had a strange sensation at the end of the line. Our track is made with a 50 meters line then a parabole, closing...

The fact is that I can't take the gaz at 100% at the enter of the parabole, so i release a little bit the throttle to engage the car. The problem is that when I release a few throttle, there is some "motor-brake" effect, really braking the car!

I've made some tests and it seems that it is coming from the Turbo, If the turbo does not engage, I don't get this effect...

Have anybody heard of that?

(Sorry for my english)

Mike sorry if we missed something. Looking back you're having loss of power somewhere.

So let's do this first. When this occurs immediately get your car over to you and hit full throttle for a second. You MUST watch and verify that all led's are lit AND FLASHING! If this is not the case your radio signal is wandering.

If they do flash but the car is lacking power pay careful attention to how it sounds while revving. Then quickly unplug the sensor harness and rev the car again. If the sound is identical you're losing sensors somewhere.

Is this 1s or 2s?

Thanks, I have found the problem and it is NOT in my Tekin. The sensor wire had a short that was hard to find, the ESC is working great.
While I am here let me say how much I appreciate Jim Campbell and his staff at Tekin.I have had some problems with the ESC which thru their patience and professionalism have been fixed and the ESC is GREAT!!!!!
Thanks Tekin you have a great product in the RS and I am a fan for life now!

I have heard of it but have not experienced it yet myself. I would think maybe some adjustments can tune it out, for instance maybe reducing turbo and increasing boost to compensate. Or some drag or push adjustments. Hopefully Randy or someone will know more.
