Tamiya mini cooper
I just took to the cover with a dremel. Works great . I also just use a cable tie around the roll bar on the car to help hold the battery wires in place. It's just big enough to squeeze a deans through it. Then I just wedge the balance cable through the battery wires to hold it out of the way.
Do the adjustability of 2 camber link positions of the alloy rear hub benefit the m03? IN what situation would you move it to the lower link? I guess for less camber gain, but does it matter on a m03?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I bent a rear axle and snapped the front one clean off.. it broke where the pin goes through.
Replaced the rear axle with a reinforced Tamiya Axle Set (54183), but I didn't see an equivalent reinforced part for the front end. Does such a part exist? Is there another better/stronger part?
Thanks

Hi, just got an email from the (former?) proprietor of Xevo today, which included the instructions, with full color photos! Should have asked about left over parts at the same time.
Thanks!

any last min. advice on building a spec m-05?
What will stop a m05 from diffing out?
My car is very stuck and drives good.
I could not make it traction roll
if you paid me ...but it will lift the inner front tire on a hard corner
and unload the ball diff.
I have tried messing with oil and gave a rear bar a shot but it will
still unload bad and I loose all corner speed.
Only help so far has been a TIGHT diff. but I get too much push on corner out.
What should I adjust 1st,2nd,3rd ect...
current setup.
m05 pro
weight 1252
silvercan
ball diff with m03 cvs
Option front alum. tower with shocks in 2nd hole from center.
trf shocks 3 hole 45 front 35 rear,no orings/spacers in front shocks (full droop) 1oring in rear shocks.

Ah! So it was a combined effort between your prompting and my email that got the job done. Perfect!
One way or the other, I have a .doc file now that I can add to the reference library. Now if only they'd cut me loose from this hospital room so I could go home and play with my new toy, life would be perfect. This place is boring and playing with Dremels and soldering irons is frowned upon.

Hey guys, I have an interesting scenario and a few questions here. Yesterday I installed a ball diff in my MO6 and when I put it back down on the track, it acted like it was tweaked. it steered great to the right, but pushed like a dump truck to the left. Also, I noticed that when I installed the cvd's that you're supposed to run, that the dogbone is right against the diff nut holder in the outdrive. What side is the diff nut supposed to be on? Right now its on the left (motor side). Also, would installed the ball diff in backwards cause the car to feel tweaked? Or have I put something back together wrong? I plan on disassembling the whole rear tonight and putting it back together per the instructions, but I also would really like to use the ball diff. Thanks for any help.
