Not true. I also striped the threads out of my ball diff a while ago.

You can order single parts. What your looking for is "pressure plate B". I can not recall the part number at this moment, but i did send an e-mail to Tamiya and they supplied the correct number. I ordered directly from Tamiya but your LHS should be able to stock one for you.

Hope this helps.

Default Mini stand...

Any recommendations for a car stand that holds the not-flat-bottomed Mini securely with good clearance for the wheels?

Make your own. Cut piece of wood 2 1/4" wide by approx 6" long. Glue a strip of window moulding down each side. Not the most elegant of solutions, but mine works great and certainly less costly than the anodized aluminum ones that weren't meant for a Mini.

53136 is the thrust bearing.

You can also use other option parts that have the same 1150 thrust bearing. Part 51346 is the thrust bearing from an F103. They are the same bearing, just discard the extra parts.

Hey guys, just a heads up: I'm still hunting for the (almost useless) instructional manual for the Xevo Chariot. If you've got a decent resolution scan, please let me know.

I still haven't found my (unbuilt) kit yet, which obviously has the instructions in it...

Mind you, if you saw how many kits and bits lived under my house you'd understand WHY I cant find it....

While standing doing some airbrushing last night I looked around, and I could count 25 cars/kits within 2 metres of me. Yet somehow, I still need more...
