Were they running different diff pulleys with the 20t centre pulleys? maybe 40 like the Photon and BD5 to achieve a 2.0 internal ratio
The 416 really doesn't need any upgrades, it's an awesome piece of kit. The pulleys are a good idea because the 18t ones would wear pretty quickly in the faster classes. Compared to the TOP, the diff isn't quite as smooth, it's a bit more of a pain to change the ackerman and adjust the toe, and the xray style suspension blocks are a lot easier to adjust. None of that affects how it drives though, and the TRF shocks are light years ahead of anything else I've tried so I've got a set of black ones on the TOP. I also heard xray have been spotted testing tamiya style suspension blocks so the xray/TOP ones might be a thing of the past soon

The internal ratio is irrelevant . what matters is bending that belt around a small pulley is not efficient. As far as the blocks go no one would believe me the blocks were better but .,,, there u go. Or maybe x-ray figures they can charge $25 each for a $12 part.

I need spare ball bearing for the front upright or rear upright/ wheel bearing but they don't have the size only the number, do anyone know the size? thank you.

17.5 I would most likely have less rear toe and a harder spring in the rear . Turning under power is so important in stock so maybe even a bit less droop up front and or a lighter front sway bar. I wouldn't mess with much else if the car was working.

i needed your help , some problem with my 416 ,,look different from other,,steering post look to fit with my servo;;;actually i look at other 416 different from my is,,got emty place about 6cm from servo to steering post

Add spacers to the screws that mount your servo to the servo mount to pust the servo a lilttle back.

I dont think this will work, if you add spacers behind the servo mounting ears the servo will move forward which will worsen the problem. Do as sidecarphil said just file that area a bit. I ve had this problem with Ino Lab servos and eventually I replace my servo coz i dont like the way it looks. If you are going to get another servo I highly recommend the low profile like SanwaSDX801, KO2413 or Futaba 9551. Those servos fit without touching the steering post.
